Guide to Choose Your Lace Color:
How do I choose the lace color for my full lace wig?
In order to chose the adequate lace color you need to match your scalp complexion with the lace and not your skin tone.
This is because when you part the hair of your full lace wig, you want it to appear as if it is your own natural scalp.
First check the color of your scalp .To do so, part your own hair and look in a mirror, at the color of your scalp, then determine which lace color will best match your scalp tone. That will be the color you will choose for the base lace cap of your full lace wig.
NOTICE:
The skin tones pictured below are only featured as a guide to help you choose which color lace base will match your complexion best.
Transparent: For White, Off White or Cream scalp tones,(Alicia Keys, Vanessa Williams, Jessica Simpson, etc.)
Light Brown: For Light Brown scalp tones(Beyonce, Tyra Banks, Ashanti, Halle Berry, etc)
Brown: For DarkBrown scalp tones, (Naomi Campbell, etc)
IMPORTANT: Make sure you compare your SCALP color to the color of the LACE- not your SKIN TONE
NOTE TO HAIR LOSS CUSTOMERS ONLY
If you have NO HAIR or even if you have medium to heavy hair loss, the lace base of the full lace wig will be sitting directly on top of your partial or full hairless scalp. You may want to choose a transparent lace, as it will pick up on your natural scalp skin tone, and if your complexion is very brown or a very dark complexion, choose the light brown lace as it will match better your scalp .
