How do I wash my wig?

Slide the edge of your wig(lace part) against a mirror. The friction
will pull out any remain of glue. Then take a small
cosmetic sponge, and soak a small piece of it in 99% alcohol and
dab off any excess glue that is left. Be gentle,
dab only, do not scrub your wig to hard otherwise
you will tear the delicate lace.

a)- After you removed all excess of dried glue, fill your clean sink with lukewarm water.

b)- Add a capful or less of gentle human hair wig formulated shampoo (or baby shampoo), and dilute it in the water.(Tip: If your full lace wig has picked up odor of smoke or other strong odors, you may want to add a teaspoon of baking soda to your lukewarm water).

c)- Place wig in shampoo water, press and
squeeze..YOUR WIG SHOULD BE TURNED INSIDE OUT

Gently swish the full lace wig in the water for about 30 seconds to a minute until the wig is saturated. Gently rub the front of the wig cap, where it meets the forehead until clean.
DO NOT MASSAGE the wig as you would your normal hair! Then turn your wig out and, focus on getting the hair strands clean out to wash. Remember gently squeeze, do not rub.

(TIP):
For the deep wave, body wave, or even
straight styles, it is best to plat your wig and to washand dry it with the plats.

(TIP):
If your wore your full lace wig more than two (2) weeks, it is recommended to do a second wash, and to leave the full lace wig to soak in the water for about 5 minutes.

d)-Then rinse out your full lace wig in cool water. It is very important to use cool water on curly, or wavy styled full lace wigs, as warm water will over-relax the curls or waves of the wig.

Gently squeeze excess water out of wig. Do not rub or twist your wig.
Spread your full lace wig out on a plastic wig stand and leave it in a ventilated area to dry overnight. You should spray on a little leave-on wig conditioner, when you start the drying process.

DO NOT
let the conditioner get to the base, where the knots are because it can cause them to loosen from the lace.
It is not recommended to blow dry your wig. Do not brush or comb your full lace wig while it is wet.
Brushing or combing wet hair of a full lace wig can cause hair damage and even damage to the lace base of the cap.

e)- When the wig is entirely dry, re-style the wig gently. We recommend a wig pick or wide tooth comb. Bristle brushes, and roll brushes are not recommended.

IMPORTANT: Seal the Knots of your full lace wig after each and every wash

You must seal your knots with knots sealer after every wash, in order to preserve your unit .

Turn the unit inside out.
DO NOT SPRAY THE KNOT SEALER ON HAIR.

Turn your full lace wig inside out, and place it, lace cap up, on a wig head stand.

Spray unit lightly with knots sealer, standing about 6 to 8 inches away.(Tip: You should not be able to actually see the mist of the sprayed knots sealer on your unit, if you used it lightly, as recommended)

The last step is very important
. The unit must dry at least for 15 to 30 minutes. If you move it before then it will shrink the lace cap of your full lace wig.

REMEMBER: The life span of your unit is based strictly on your maintenance. With proper care, your lace wig can last up to two (2) years.
